We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Manager to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing financial operations, procurement activities, and ensuring compliance with statutory regulatory requirements and company policies/guidelines. This position will cover several locations, Singapore, Shanghai and United States.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management: Responsible for consolidating financial statements from all subsidiaries to create a comprehensive financial report for the company. Monitor cash flow, financial performance, and prepare regular financial statements and reports for management review. Develop and manage financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts aligned with organizational goals. Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting. Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and tax requirements.
Procurement: Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies that optimize purchasing processes and minimize costs. Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure favourable terms and conditions. Oversee procurement activities for laboratory supplies, equipment, and services, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with statutory regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies related to financial practices, procurement processes, and data protection. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify compliance risks and implement corrective actions as needed. Serve as the point of contact for external audits and regulatory inspections.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred.
- At least 3-5 years of relevant working experience handling full-set account
- Proven experience in financial management, procurement, and compliance; Experience in Biotechnology industry is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Singapore and international financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of developing and implementing successful financial and procurement strategies.
