Project Manager - Malta
EM&I are growing the team based at their hub in Naxxar, Malta with the addition of a Project Manager. This is primarily an office based role in Malta.
Role: Responsible for delivery and management of projects where required, on time and within budget.
Reporting to: Deputy Regional Operations Manager
Responsibilities:
Project Management
- To manage, direct and coordinate projects/site activities for the execution of the projects in compliance with all contractual requirements from planning to completion
- Ensuring all allocated projects comply with internal Project Management Procedure (PM 103).
- Ensuring project plans are produced and regularly updated, including Deltek and Pla
Academic Competencies:
- Evidence of Project Management training preferably through an accredited body such as PRINCE2 or PMI is desirable
- Degree education in engineering, project management or business studies preferred
- Advanced user in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience Competencies:
- Minimum of 8-10 years' experience in the oil and gas industry with a proven track record in leading and managing engineering projects
- Understanding and working knowledge of inspection, repairs and maintenance industry
- Shipyard experience preferred
- Strong management background with first class analytical skills and commercial/financial awareness
- Strong decision maker with sound problem solving aptitude
- Results driven and used to working to strict deadlines
- Strong team building, motivational and leadership skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, through oral and written means, at all levels within EM&I, Client and Vendor organisations on a wide variety of project related matters
- Ability to work independently and proactively but also as part of a team
