2026 Apprenticeship as a technical product designer (m/f/d) (specializing in machine and plant design)

Do you have an eye for detail and love bringing complex machines to life on screen? Then training as a technical product designer is just the thing for you! As a technical product designer, you are the creative mind behind the technical drawings and 3D models that later become reality on the shop floor. You will work closely with design engineers, develop precise components and ensure that machines and systems not only work - but also interact perfectly.

Training starts in September 2026. The regular training period is three and a half years, with dual training in the company and at vocational school.

Training as a technical product designer includes:
- Creating technical drawings and 3D models using CAD software (SolidWorks) for machines and system components
- Design and further development of components, taking into account manufacturing techniques and material selection
- Documentation of technical documents (parts lists)
- Carrying out dimensional, tolerance and functional tests to ensure product quality
- Collaboration with design engineers, production and purchasing to optimize design and manufacturability
