Senior Electrical Procurement Engineer

Key Responsibilities:Prepare and review RFQs (Requiest for Quotation) as per the material/equipment requisitions for electrical equipment (e.g., motors, switchgear, transformers, MCCs, cables, lighting, grounding systems).Evaluate vendor offers for compliance with project and client requirements.Support bid clarification meetings, technical discussions, and vendor qualification processes.Liaise with suppliers (globally) of electrical equipment.Manage procurement process, from creating purchase orders to tracking shipments and ensuring on-time delivery.Coordinate engineering change with Turkey office.Liaise with suppliers to identify and resolve potential delays in fabrication, inspection, or shipping.Coordinate and conduct quality inspections, FATs (Factory Acceptance Tests), and witness tests as per project requirements.Ensure material/equipment meets Project requirements, Oil & Gas industry codes and standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC, API, etc.).Collaborate with procurement and expediting teams to monitor vendor progress and delivery schedules.Provide technical support during FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests) and inspections.Qualification Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.Minimum 15 years' experience in procurement/technical evaluation of electrical systems for Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.Strong knowledge of process plant electrical equipment and international standards.Previous experience with EPC projects is an advantage.Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English (written and spoken).Ability to travel and work with suppliers globally, including short-mid-long term shop visits and expediting stays as/if required.Proven ability to use Microsoft Office tools effectively in a professional environment.
