Job Description:
Lead end-to-end development of door panel systems, acting as the primary engineering interface with customers in collaboration with global teams
Define and develop product designs and manufacturing processes aligned with customer specifications and Group standards
Ensure technical feasibility, design convergence, and validation through close coordination with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional engineering teams
Manage and maintain program documentation within Product Data Management (PDM) systems
Execute development activities in line with organizational protocols and Program Management System (PMS) guidelines
Lead supplier development activities, including tooling development, process validation, and industrialization readiness
Coordinate effectively with suppliers and plant teams during product development and launch phases
Ensure supplier quality assurance for prototypes, tooling, and production processes
Drive and support APQP activities, including PFMEA, DFMEA, DFM/DFA, and tolerance stack-up analysis
Lead costing and value engineering initiatives, including techno-commercial discussions and supplier negotiations
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality, cost optimization, and manufacturability

Professional Experience:
Relevant 10+ years of experience in automotive interiors, specifically Door panel development (Minimum 3 + Complete Door Panels Programs Experience )
Proven experience managing programs from RFQ to SOP (Start of Production)
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional engineering teams and manage global interfaces
Strong background across the complete product development lifecycle, from concept to launch
Experience in automotive OEM/Tier-1 environments preferred

GD&T and tolerance analysis
Root cause analysis and structured problem-solving methodologies
Change management and customer-specific engineering systems
Engineering documentation and configuration management
Familiarity with engineering data systems and analytical tools
