Job purpose:
Join our global FP&
A team in Geneva to support data automation and tooling projects that improve forecasting, reporting and analysis for the commodity business. You will work with FP&
A analysts and IT stakeholders to develop, deploy and hand over automation solutions that make financial workflows faster and more reliable.
Key responsibilities:
Assist in development and deployment of data automation solutions (ETL, scripts, dashboards, reporting pipelines).
Translate user needs into technical requirements and implement solutions with guidance.
Build documentation, training materials and run handover sessions so non-IT staff can maintain tools.
Test, validate and troubleshoot automated workflows and reports.
Support ad-hoc data analysis and automation proof-of-concepts for commodity-focused FP&
A processes.
Required qualifications:
Current student or recent graduate majoring in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science or related field.
Proven experience or demonstrable involvement in data automation projects (scripts, ETL, RPA, Power Query, Python, SQL, or similar).
Strong logical thinking and problem-solving; ability to understand user needs even without prior business domain expertise.
Good communication and training skills; comfortable explaining technical solutions to non-IT users.
Interest in the commodity industry.
Nice-to-have:
Knowledge in Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese) is a plus.
Familiarity with finance/FP&
A concepts, BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) or cloud data platforms.
