A Day of Your Life:
Developing and implementing vendor management policies, processes, and controls to ensure the ongoing monitoring and assessment of vendor performance and risks
Conducting due diligence reviews on new and existing vendors to evaluate their capabilities, financial stability, and compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
Negotiating and managing vendor contracts, service level agreements, and other commercial arrangements
Monitoring and reporting on vendor performance, identifying and addressing any issues or areas of concern
Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure vendor strategies align with the organisation's risk appetite and business priorities
Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to vendor management
What You Will Need to Succeed:
3+ years of experience in vendor management, preferably within the banking or financial services sector
Strong understanding of vendor management frameworks, risk assessment methodologies, and contract negotiation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and mitigate vendor-related risks
Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements applicable to the banking and financial services industry
A collaborative approach with a focus on continuous improvement
