Job Purpose
Lead R&
D strategy and partnership platform development for ACWA's seawater desalination projects. Drive technology and process innovation and establish desalination pilot platforms to support project delivery and market demands.
Key Duties
Build and manage the seawater desalination R&
D and pilot platform, identifying, evaluating, and integrating emerging technologies and products.
Establish and manage R&
D collaboration with research institutes, universities, OEMs, and government entities.
Translate industry and project requirements into actionable R&
D plans and technology roadmaps.
Oversee R&
D project delivery, including timeline, budget, and internal/external stakeholder coordination.
Qualification
Master's degree or above in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related fields.
Minimum 5 years (preferably 8+ years) of experience in process engineering, technology development, or R&
D project management within the water treatment industry.
Preference for candidates from specialized desalination R&
D institutes, OEMs, engineering design institutes, or investment/operation enterprises.
Demonstrated success in building R&
D partnerships, managing platforms, and driving technology innovation within a project-driven environment.
Skills
Deep process engineering expertise in SWRO, MED, or related thermal/membrane desalination technologies.
Proven capability in full-cycle R&
D project management, including schedule control, budget management, and cross-functional coordination.
Strong insight into industry demand and technology roadmap planning.
Excellent collaboration, outreach, and communication skills.
