Chengdu Institute of Biology (CIB), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) is a national independent institution. It focuses on fundamental and pioneering research as well as technological innovation in biodiversity conservation, ecological and environmental restoration, and sustainable utilization of rich biological resources provided by the Global Biodiversity. Over the past 60 years, CIB has achieved a series of groundbreaking successes in scientific discoveries, technological innovation, talent training , and research commercialization, and has strongly supported local socioeconomic development.
