Site Supervisor

Reporting to the Project Manager, he/she will be responsible for the supervision and assembly of wind turbines in the wind farm.

Key responsabilities

On field:
- Planning and execution of the assembly phase (wind sector).
- Coordination of the team and subcontractors, on-site monitoring of the work.
- Resolution of possible incidents during the same, improvements in processes and protocols.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure activities are compliant within agreed scope and program, with timely and suitable communication of any required changes. Collaboration with Commercial, Purchasing and Logistics departments.
- Provide technical support to operators and respond to on-site issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure processes comply with safety and quality standards.

Home Office Tasks:
- Prepare documentation: drawings, method statements, risk assessments, reports for clients, projects follow ups, and summaries on project progress and on-site operational situations.
- Manage travel expense reports, including the control and verification of receipts, and submit to Finance for processing.
- Participate in project meetings virtually, ensuring effective communication of progress and requirements.
- Coordinate with internal departments (Process Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Logistics…) to ensure activities align with the agreed scope and schedule.
- Support to Process Engineers with the definition of the assembly operations definition.
- Post processing of the installation information, reporting generation and lessons learnt collecting and implementation.

Candidate Profile
- Education. Superior Vocational Training or B.S. degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical or Electrical).
- Experience. More than 5 years proven work experience as an Assembly Specialist for lifting operations, construction and/or installation.
- Languages. Advanced English level (B2 - C1). Second language will be positive valued.
- Technical Skills. Definition and supervision of onshore lifting operations and/or special construction processes.
- Knowledge about standard lifting and lifting equipment.

Key Competencies
- Knowledge and experience on the application of Lean Manufacturing to Assembly Processes.
- Knowledge of the lift industry and construction processes.
- Clear understanding of the relevant equipment and its use.
- Professional with leadership skills, organizational and planning skills, used to working in an international environment, customer and goal oriented.
- Accurate and rigorous worker.
- Familiarity with state health and safety regulations (risk assessments).
- Total willingness to travel to the field.
