Sales Manager

Position: Sales Manager. Location: Leek (Groningen), The Netherlands. Hours: 40 hours. You will work in an international environment, which means regular travel is part of the position. We are looking for a sales manager who will explore new markets and opportunities and finds new customers in addition to maintaining existing customer relationships. You explore opportunities in our existing market of retrofits and possible solutions in the field of IMO regulations, but you are also continuously looking for possibilities to expand our services as a whole. Goltens Green Technologies B.V. designs and installs green and technical solutions on board of new and existing ships. By responding quickly to requests for marine service and repair, we provide efficient and high-quality retrofits around the world in a market where environmental compliance is a long-standing issue for ship owners. Goltens Green Technologies: 17 colleagues, a total of 70 in the Netherlands and around 1200 colleagues worldwide.

Responsibilities: generating sales leads for retrofit projects in the maritime and offshore industry; visiting new and existing customers and following up on these leads by finding and developing technical solutions together with colleagues and customers; responsible for an efficient and successful sales process in the broadest sense and building long-term customer relationships; successfully transferring the projects to one of our project managers and working closely with the management team and engineers.
