Are you a current Bermuda law student pursuing an undergraduate or post-graduate law degree and interested in gaining meaningful internship experience at Bermuda's leading law firm?
We are currently accepting applications for our 2026 Winter Internship Programme which will take place in December of this year.
Duties &
Responsibilities:
- Perform complicated legal work under the supervision of an attorney
- Research and write memoranda
- Perform administrative duties such as filing
- Assist with preparation for trials, hearings, and client meetings.
- Attend trials, hearings, and client meetings.
- Research legislative histories
- Prepare and organize files and binders
Applicants will be required to write a short personal statement of 250-500 words explaining why they should be considered for the Appleby (Bermuda) Limited Winter Internship Programme. Consideration shall be given to scholarship/bursary recipients.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Must be studying for a recognized law degree or equivalent
- Experience in a law firm will be considered an asset
- Must possess strong research, writing and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Attention to detail and strong time management skills required
