US PA&

The function operates an outcome-driven advocacy model: a prioritized portfolio of priorities, measured against defined patient outcome goals. The Head leads this model and shapes its continued evolution. Enterprise leadership: Ensures alignment of patient advocacy and public affairs strategies with Corporate Affairs goals and colleagues. Serves as a full member of the US PA&

Distinguishing Capabilities &
Mindset
- Enterprise-first leadership. Puts enterprise and patient outcomes first and represents the full breadth of Sanofi in every room.
- Team players across boundaries. Works instinctively across functions, geography, and companies, US and global, Corporate Affairs and business, Sanofi and alliance partner, and builds followership through generosity, reliability, and shared credit.
- Thrives in fast evolution. Energized rather than unsettled by a rapidly changing policy, competitive, and technology environment; adapts strategy at the pace the environment demands while keeping the team steady.
- Outcomes discipline. A track record of managing through measures, setting outcome goals, stopping low-impact work, and demonstrating what changed for patients or systems, not what activities occurred.
- Strategic judgment under ambiguity. Leads with a clear thesis, uses data and evidence to support decisions, and anticipates policy, competitive, and stakeholder shifts years ahead of launch.
- Alliance and collaboration skills. Builds durable, principled partnerships across organizational boundaries; navigates complexity with discipline and protects long-term cooperation.
- AI-native orientation. Treats AI as a default way of working, for insight generation, cross-disease learning, and decision support, and understands how emerging AI is changing healthcare delivery.
- Cross-disease learning. Studies what works and why across therapeutic areas and applies it; contributes insight, failure, and best practice to organizational learning.
- People development. Proven ability to coach professionals, grow next-generation leaders, and build succession depth, with development of others treated as a core leadership accountability, not a side activity.
- Influence without authority. Earns trust and inspires action across external partners, business leadership, and global colleagues; distills complexity into clear, convincing communication for diverse audiences.
