Job Description Summary
Quality Inspector Job Description:
- Final and in process inspection of tooling, components, and prototype parts using CMM and various gauges as required.
- Ability to program and operate Zeiss CMM using Calypso software
- Ability to read blue prints and understand product specification and requirements
- Ability to perform measurements of precision components to ensure specifications are met
- Ability to perform general shop math
- Ability to measure close tolerances
- Completion of customer inspection reports per instructions and requirements
- Performs preventive maintenance tasks as needed
Required Skills and Education
- High school diploma
- Five (5)+ years of experience working in precision manufacturing environment operating measuring quipment
- Experience with Zeiss CMM and Calypso software
- Experience with Microsoft office
