Powertrain Expert (m/f/d)

Responsibilities
Layout and design of innovative and state of the art powertrain componenets, such as variable compression ratio system, supply unit drive, gears and plain bearings
Layout, design and adaptation of powertrain systems for retrofit to existing engines
Provide excellent support for the WinGD service business
Develop powertrain components for minimum cost and maximum customer satisfaction
Failure analysis and development of repair solutions in case of damages
Support Licensees and handle requests for alternative executions and non-conformity reports

Requirements
Degree in mechanical engineering (M.Sc., B.Sc., Dipl.-Ing. or equivalent)
Knowledge of design and stress assessment of mechanical components
Experience in CAD system (NX preferred) &
FEM software (ANSYS Workbench preferred) required
Experience in EHD software AVL EXCITE & gear calculation software KISSsoft beneficial
Fluent in English, German beneficial; good oral and written communication
Independent, self-driven and target oriented way of working
