Nova is seeking an Experimental Physicist with broad exposure to multiple technologies, ideally with a strong background in ultrafast optics. Experience or familiarity with semiconductor process control and fabrication is considered a strong advantage.
As a New-Tech Physicist, you will lead and execute concept and feasibility studies, working both independently and in close collaboration with internal teams and external partners. In this role, you will play a key part in identifying, evaluating, and integrating emerging technologies that will shape Nova’s innovation roadmap and future product portfolio.
Lead and execute early-stage research projects to explore, validate, and de-risk new technological concepts, including hands-on laboratory work, data analysis, and simulations
Identify emerging industry needs and proactively scout disruptive and enabling technologies to address future challenges
Collaborate closely with cross-functional internal teams and external partners (academia and industry) to drive feasibility studies and concept development
Influence Nova’s strategic technology direction by introducing novel, high-impact ideas into the company’s innovation and technology portfolio
