Night Auditor and Guest Service Agent

Swiss-BelSuites Victoria Park is a 4.5-star, boutique, all-suites hotel located in the heart of Auckland City. With 40 suites, the attention to detail and quality of service is what make the difference. As a Swiss-Bel Night Auditor, your job will be to delight and amaze our guests on a daily basis. In order to be successful in this role you will need to be able to tick off the following points: Greets & interacts with guests in a helpful manner using their names whenever possible. Registers and rooms all arrivals according to established procedures. Maintains an intimate knowledge of departmental standards and procedures. Serving a small range of F&B options to guests, including coffee making. Maintains cashier float and ensures accurate daily report of all money received. Be aware at all times about room rates and be able to offer the best rates to direct guests. Attends to guest's complaints, inquiries and requests and refers problems to the manager when required. Doing the night audit, cash up and performing end of the day. Does everything possible to ensure that the guests depart the hotel with a positive impression of hotel service. Maintains comprehensive knowledge of standard reservation procedures including correct forms to use, how to read and enter online bookings, e-mail messages, and how to interpret availability sources within the reservation systems. Liaise with the Housekeeping on the allocation of all VIP rooms, room moves, group allocations, and special requests. To be fully aware of the daily worksheets and handover reports, and ensure that all these are used effectively as a means of communication.
